Honoured to Receive the Seven Teachings: Truth Award at the 2026 Okimâw Awards!

I’m incredibly honoured and grateful to share that I’ve been selected as a recipient of the Seven Teachings: Truth Award at the 2026 Okimâw Awards!

As a First Nations artist, my journey has always been about honouring our ancestors, celebrating our culture, and sharing our stories through art. To receive this recognition is truly meaningful, and I’m humbled to be recognized alongside so many inspiring individuals making a difference in our communities.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers of the Okimâw Awards and everyone who has supported me throughout my artistic journey. Your encouragement and kindness mean more than words can express!
